You tell me that you love me,
Since so many years ago,
But you've never said it to my face,
So I don't really know.
You've made me smile a thousand times,
But cry a thousand more.
I tell myself you're worth the pain,
But anymore, I'm not so sure.
If you love me like you say you do,
Why can't I see it in your eyes?
Why bother saying anything,
When you know its only lies?
You love me so much today,
But tomorrow you're not sure.
I am tired of just taking it in,
I won't do it anymore.
These feelings for you are so very strong,
And I'd hate to lose you now,
After all I have gone through to get you,
But I'll get over it somehow.
So now you need to make a choice,
Do you love me or is it lust?
When you find out let me know,
Because I can't love someone I can not trust.
